Registration for Hockessin Soccer Club's Spring 2012 Instructional Program NOW OPEN!
We are offering an Early Bird Discount ($10 off) January 17 - February 1, 2012. Regular registration will run from February 2 - March 3, 2012. Registration will be closed at midnight on March 3. Any registrations accepted after that date will be assessed a $30 Late Fee with no guarantee of placement.
The Spring Instructional program is an 8 week long program with practices starting the week of March 26 and last games scheduled Saturday, June 2. TinyMites and TOPSoccer sessions will start on Saturday, March 31. For more information on the different age groups and details, please visit the "Instructional" Page under "Programs".

About the Instructional Program
|
|
|
|
|
|
 The Hockessin Soccer Club's Instructional program serves the majority of our members by providing opportunities for area children to participate in soccer activities year-round, while serving over 1600 children, ages 3-18. Hockessin Soccer Club’s Instructional Program strives to develop its players through small sided games in a positive learning atmosphere. Learning and improvement are most important in our instructional program.
Our practice and game facilities are located at various neighborhoods, schools, and parks in the Hockessin area. All locations are within 5-10 minutes of our clubhouse at 740 Evanson Rd.
We are largely a volunteer organization. Parents serve as coaches, Age Group Coordinators, and administrators. Over 150 teams participate in our programs, making us one of the largest Instructional programs in Delaware. Fall & Spring Instructional Program Details

|
Hockessin Soccer Club's Fall and Spring Instructional Programs are 8 week long programs available for recreational players ages 3-18 years old. HSC's Fall Instructional program typically starts end of August/early September. Registration will open for the Fall Program in Mid-June and will close Early August. There will be an extended registration period from August through the first game date where players can still register online but will be assessed a $30.00 late fee and no guarantee of team placement. HSC's Spring instructional program typically starts end of March/early April. Registration will open for the Spring Instructional program Mid-January and will close Early March. There will be an extended registration period from March through the first game date where players can still register online but will be assessed a $30.00 late fee and no guarantee of placement.

An announcement will be posted to the homepage and the instructional page of the website when registration for Fall and Spring opens. Returning customers will also be sent an email announcing registration opening.
Registration for all Instructional Programs is completed ONLINE through our website. To register, scroll to the top left side of the page and click on "log in" or "first-time users". First time users will need to create an account. This account is how you register for all programs with HSC.
Fall and Spring Age Groups
1. TinyMites: Co-ed, 3-4 yr old, Fee $70.00
Birth Range: born between 8/1/07-7/31/09
3-4 yr old children will be eased into soccer in a progression of programs where there are no formal games. In small teams or groups, the players will learn basic skills and the fun of the sport. Groups of TinyMites will practice once weekly on Saturday mornings under the supervision of Hockessin Soccer Club training staff. There are 3 Saturday morning sessions: 9am, 10am, and 11am. Each session lasts about 45min long. All sessions are held at Brandywine Springs Elementary School. TinyMites are required to register online via our website, purchase the HSC Purple and White Jersey, and come prepared to each session with the proper soccer equipment. 2. MiniMites: Co-ed, 4-5 yr old, Fee $70.00
Birth Range: born between 8/1/06-7/31/07
Pre-Kindergarten age children will be introduced to team play through fun games and basic skill drills. For most children it will be their first exposure to team sports. MiniMites teams practice two evenings per week under the supervision of volunteer parent coaches. Your child's coach will determine the days, times, and location.
3. DynaMites: Co-ed, 5-6 yr old, Fee $70.00
Birth Range: born between 8/1/05-7/31/06
Kindergarten age children will be introduced to team play through fun games and basic skill drills. For most children it will be their first exposure to team sports. DynaMites teams practice two evenings per week under the supervision of volunteer parent coaches. Your child's coach will determine the days, times, and location.
4. U-8, U-10, & U12 Boys and Girls, Fee $85.00
U-8 Boys & Girls 1st/2nd grade, born between 8/1/03-7/31/05
U-10 Boys & Girls 3rd/4th grade, born between 8/1/01-7/31/03
U-12 Boys & Girls 5th/6th grade, born between 8/1/99-7/31/01
Players are assigned to teams and train two nights per week under the supervision of volunteer parent coaches and play once weekly on Saturday mornings. League games are played in age appropriate small-sided formats.
5. U14-U18 Boys and Girls, Fee $80
U-14 Boys & Girls 7th/8th grade, born between 8/1/97-7/31/99
"High school" U18 Boys & Girls 9th-12th grade, born between 8/1/93-7/31/97
Inter-Club play is introduced at the U-12 level. Players are assigned to teams and train two nights per week under the supervision of volunteer parent coaches and play once weekly on Saturday mornings. 11v11 matches on full-sized fields are introduced at the U-14 level.

Winter Instructional Program Details
|
|
|
|
|
|
Hockessin Soccer Club's Winter Indoor Instructional program is an 8 week long program held on Saturday's at the Hockessin Police Athletic League Facility off Rt. 41 in Hockessin during the months of January, February, and March. Teams play games only once a week on 8 Saturday's. Games are 45 min to an hour long. There are no practices during the week. Players are required to come prepared to each game with an HSC jersey, soccer shin guards, and either sneakers or indoor shoes. Game-times between 1:00am and 4:30pm. Typically the younger age groups will go earlier in the day and the older age groups later in the day. Each team will have a 15 minute practice time prior to all of their games. All teams are co-ed.
Registration will open for the Winter Instructional program Mid-October and will close Mid-November. There will be an extended registration period from Mid-November through the first game date where players can still register online but will be assessed a $10.00 late fee and no guarantee of placement.
